V-Glass Ultra-High Efficiency Glass Demonstrates Durability

WAUKESHA, Wisc., Nov. 21, 2022 – V-Glass, Inc., a Cleantech company developing affordable, ultra-high efficiency vacuum insulated glass (VIG) for the built environment, announced today that it has achieved a significant technical milestone. 

V-Glass Awarded $1.15M Grant by U.S. Department of Energy

PEWAUKEE, WI, September 2, 2020 – V-Glass, Inc., a Wisconsin-based startup, has been awarded a Phase IIB grant by the US Department of Energy, Office of Science. The award is for $1,150,000 over two years and is an extension of two prior grants under V-Glass’s original proposal entitled Vacuum Glass for R-10 Windows.

De Blasio’s 2030 Ban on Classic Glass presents Opportunity

for Wisconsin Start-Up

PEWAUKEE, Wis., April 24, 2019 – New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio recently announced that he would impose a ban on the classic glass and steel skyscrapers that comprise much of the city’s skyline unless they can be made much more energy efficient. V-Glass, a Wisconsin-based startup, has responded to the challenge: “No problem.”

V-Glass Selected as Competition Finalist by NASA and DOE

 

PEWAUKEE, WI, May 30, 2018 - V-Glass, a Wisconsin startup, has been selected as a top 10 finalist to present at the NASA iTech Energy competition June 13 and 14 in New York City. The audience will include representatives from NASA, DOE, and potential investors.
